Campy Wedding Stationary & Website

After a small 10-person wedding with immediate family, my husband and I wanted to throw a celebration that felt authentically "us", nostalgic, playful, and rooted in shared experiences. We invited 22 of our closest friends to join us for a Labor Day weekend at the charmingly vintage Camp Wandawega in Elkhorn, Wisconsin, and designed a suite of invitations, print materials, and a custom website to bring the summer camp theme to life.

Save the Date & Invitation Stationary

The save-the-dates set a playful tone: “Evan and Jess are getting married and you are not invited.” In small print, guests learned they were actually invited to a summer camp-themed reception weekend.

The formal invitation followed with, “Evan and Jess are going camping and you are now invited,” along with a details card and a link to our website.

Website

I designed a custom website, evanlovesjess.com, to serve as a central resource for our guests.

The site included weekend itineraries, packing lists, activity recommendations, and thoughtful, personalized touches, like a camp-themed movie list and a visual timeline of our relationship.

Welcome Bags

Each guest received a personalized welcome bag with camp-themed items such as sunscreen, s’mores chocolate, bug spray, and a disposable camera, packaged in kraft bags with clothespins and vintage pennant banners.

Every design element reflected the retro camp aesthetic and our laid-back, humorous tone. The project was a fun and personal way to celebrate and connect with our closest friends.

Photography

I took photos using several different digital and film cameras, including a Sony A6000, Minolta MAC ZOOM 90 (35mm), Holga (35mm), Fujifilm disposable, Porchlight Design Co. 35mm camera, and a Polaroid.
