I partnered with the City of Cleveland’s Storefront Renovation Program (SRP) to create a set of custom illustrations celebrating the program’s completed 2016 projects. These illustrations highlighted the transformed facades of local small businesses that had received design and construction support through the SRP. Each drawing was framed and gifted to the corresponding business owner during the program’s annual awards event, a meaningful way to commemorate their growth and participation.

In addition to the illustrations, I developed a cohesive visual identity for the awards event, including marketing materials and a commemorative coffee mug given to all attendees. The 2016 mug featured the theme “For Cleveland – From Cleveland” and incorporated the illustrations to symbolize the city’s ongoing support of its local business community. This project brought together storytelling, civic pride, and illustration to honor the entrepreneurs shaping Cleveland’s neighborhoods.
